Description:

A very rare portrait medallion of Frederick, Duke of York, charming in its naive, sparse decoration, using only two colours. Relief moulded, with the indentations visible on the reverse, a superb piece.

Circa 1790-1800

Approx - 4.5 inches (115mm) tall.

In very good condition throughout, minor nibble to rim.
